Ocado: now you can shop for groceries on your mobile!

Tesco's online rival Ocado has launched a brilliant new Iphone app: a mobile supermarket with a range of over 18,000 products.

Brand Republic reports how iPhone and iPod Touch users will be able to download the "Ocado On The Go" and chose from the catalogue of food and drink to books and toys.

The company is pioneering this service, however, it probably want be too long before the others will have to follow.

Ocado's co-founder Jason Gissing, describe the app as the "the quickest, most convenient and fun way to do the weekly shop yet".

The app does not require the user to be online throughout the shipping 'trip' - orders are simply updated when the phone is connected to the Internet.
